it takes so long for these issues to go threw. We been talking about those braces for a LONG time and they finally passed a law. and even after all that law passing we still get to hold it up and try to reverse it. This is why a President can't get things done in 4 years. It takes forever to get one thing done and then its held up and reversed.
Farther more we let current anger at recent crimes drive decisions. We feel the need to announce quickly "We did some thing and we solved the problem" but people who make these laws don't solve the problem. You can SAY guns are banned but you can NEVER enforce it a ban doesn't end the anger that drives people to kill a ban doesn't remove the weapon from the streets and a ban on the wrong part of the gun does nothing at all. Even if this Ban passes how do you enforce it? How do you know who owns these parts? how do you know which houses contain these parts?
