Here's an idea, don't buy tickets from some stranger in the parking lot of a gas station.

OF COURSE IT'S STAGED. The point isn't about the authenticity of the scam on the video, it's about the practice of the people doing it to bring you out of ignorance. If you watch the videos about the Taxi Bill Swap or Pick Pocket, the scenario is played out to show you how it's done, and then it's explained. That's the point.

There's no scam here. The clubs pay people to distribute those passes. Walk through a casino late at night and there people inside the casinos giving out the passes. Ask your cab driver what passes he has and he'll likely have a buffet of them.

Sorry, this website needs to come down. It is full of deception like these passes are fake. He even says, "he's making the thousands, you're making the hundreds." How is the guy making the thousands? The passes are real, the club accepts them and then he gets paid. So why is the reporter acting like the passes are fraudulent? What B.S.!!!!

With the advent of electronic ticketing, I would never buy a ticket from anyone on the street. It can be a valid ticket that can't be used, because it has already cancelled.

Wasn't clear what the scam is. So these are just bogus VIP tickets. How do they disburse them and why does it keep going?

Put on a performance and get people to pay too much for too little.

Lol this is definitely inaccurate and not a scam. Most of those tickets have zero value because your on a digital guest list and the physical general admission ticket will get you nothing. Promoters literally hand these out during the day on the strip for clubs like Hakkasan and Omnia.
