Okki Nokki Record Cleaning Machine

I am back to discuss my recent purchase.. The Okki Nokki Record cleaning Machine! I hope this video can help guide viewers and future buyers on this item and what the machine can do to help you get the best results from you beloved record collection... I do rabbit on a little in this video explaining a few things regarding the Okki Nokki I will also include a demo of how to use the machine and the sound you get once cleaned..
Not everyone will agree with my methods.. but it's really down to each individual on how they clean and maintain their record collection... whatever is easiest for you!!

Just bought one, I am very excited to hear what it can do. I too had a Knosti but found the crud on my stylus to be an annoying consequence. I am gonna make my own fluid though: L'Art Du Son, distilled water and wetting agent. I have some very quiet Classical and Ambient records which are in good shape but need the Okki Nokki treatment to get them as good as they can be! Lovely system by the way.

Nice demo.  I've been offered a *really* good deal on a new Okki Nokki from my local dealer, but I read that Sumiko is no longer importing to the US.  I've looked around and getting extra felt pads, etc. looks to be tricky here.  Still might go for it.

Thanks for this super informative vid on the Okki Nokki . . . easily the best review on YouTube ! I watched it several times to insure I absorbed all the insider tips on the machine and best practices for record cleaning. My local "all things vinyl" specialty retailer carries the Okki Nokki . . . I see a Mark II machine in my analog future :-) :-)

Thanks a bunch! I've been using the Spin Cleaner but while it works great, I'm getting tendonitis from spinning too many records and I don't think its doing as good a job as can be done. Off to Amazon to pick up an Okki Nokki, thanks.

I've ordered the white one because it'll take another two or three weeks to get black ones. I was thinking of custom painting the front of it by painting a maroon coloured stripe round the centre of it. I hope it has a good surface for taking paint. I was thinking about using artist's acrylic paint. It was supposed to be here today but it still hasn't turned up sigh.

My ON leaves a trace of liquid on a disc. I think it is left by those wet velvet strips. I try tto dry them after every record but it still keeps happening. It's worse on outer edge and then there is straight line where I lift the suction arm. Slightly annoying.

If it won't turn on, then you need to drain it through the tube to empty the reservoir that holds the used fluid

Good machine... How you clean 7 inch disc??? with the same arm or use another small arm??

When you flip the record over, you are putting it on a dirty platter. I use a spin clean and a record doctor v. No complaints

Shame it's got a full sized platter instead of a label sized one. Dirty side down problem!

Great video and thanks for sharing - I have the exact Okki but have been experiencing issues with it to the point where it shit down on me after cleaning one vinyl yesterday. I left if overnight and it seems to be working again this morning but I wanted to ask if yours sounds like mine and am sharing a video clip as follows:

Would appreciate your thoughts/comments on this as I am not convinced it is all well and have only cleaned 8 vinyls!
