A record cleaning machine is the easiest way to get rid of pops and surface noise from both new and used vinyl. Watch this quick video to see how easy they are to use. I included the use of a distilled water rinse as I find it cleans up the final surface noise.

FYI: Don't use the clamp, it can leave marks on the labels. Replace the
velvet pads regularly and go for longer ones that will cover the full
surface of records. Wipe them every once in awhile specially when
cleaning dirtier records. Use preferably with distilled water only. The
cleaning brush can scratch the records (look at deadwax with bright
light at an angle and will understand what I mean). Make sure if you
absolutely want to use the brush that it's clean and replace otherwise.
Avoid using brush on really dirty record since you're grinding the dirt
into the record. Only one rotation is needed. Builds up static after that and quite pointless imo.

Wow - Robbery, pure & simple - way overpriced £435/$500!
For that price one shouldn't have to do anything manually - Ridiculous!
