I've been to two Chappelle shows in 3 years. Cell phones & recorders were not permitted in either one.

I dig it; one thing it does is remove the pretentiousness out of the crowd.

Around 5 years ago I heard two jokes from Dave Chapelle on the radio advertising one of his stand up specials and I was really wishing he would do another televised special. Then when he hosted snl I was so happy and I was hoping it would lead to more. These specials are everything I wanted and more!
