How to fit a Roof Tent... TentBox Lite XL fitting and set up

Not my cuppa tea being a cripple, but this thing looks awesome for anyone who can climb in, hardest part looked attaching it to the car itself. Would love to see Lee try it, I can see him being baffled by the 2 loops at the end haha.

Cool... I saw one a few months ago... two ladies and two little kids the occupants. I stopped to take a pic and rushed home to search "Tentbox"... only to be rudely brought back to earth when I saw the price!! However, now that I've seen a little more I can understand a little better. But alas, out of my price range! Enjoy the outing... GGG!!!😁😁😁

Go steady on the beers. Climbing down to use the loo is a big problem, speaking from experience. Also, if it’s windy, you’ll get sea sickness!

It's great for avoiding crocodiles up north Australia. And snakes that really like body heat at night.
Ants, mice, rats, er, spiders.
But, roof load limits apply, and it raises the car's center of gravity, so affects cornering and fuel economy

One word of caution on those collapsing ladders. Make very sure your fingers are out of the way. Those warning labels aren't kidding. That being said, very cool tent!

Looking forward to the daisy dukes going up those ladders Geoff. Towards the end they did forget to use the extra tie down straps on the nearside corners but looks a good piece of kit for short stays.

Interesting concept - but if you want to go out anywhere in the car, you have to pack it all away first, and then you risk losing your 'patch' on the camp-site, unless they are numbered and allocated.

Living in Cornwall ive seen hundreds of these things, seems like a brilliant idea and am considering one for a European road trip to see my family, but it does look like it will couse a lot of drag especially on a autobahn stormer

Only part way in to the video. What is the load rating of the Volvo roof? Aren't some cars only 50kg or something? Would 100-200kg be a bit too heavy?
