One more difference between the D7 and the D8 is the hard drive on the D8 has twice the storage as the D7. D7 has 32GB and the D8 has 64GB. I was lucky enough to get the D8 on sale and I've been very satisfied with it so far. The only limitation I've had is with my auto being an older car with limited computer systems. I also ordered a longer cord so I could use it under the hood which has been very useful.

Attention, in Mercedes W246, 176, 212, 204, 205 the equipment does not do EZS!!! Changing the counter settings works for a few seconds and then reads the old value from the EZS. Digiprog 3 does it better.

I just purchased an Xtool D8 and I am very disappointed. It will not reset the oil change on my 2011 Mercedes CL500. I also tried it on a 2006 S500L but it will not reset that either.
The most BASIC of functions and it can't cope!

Has its flaws...It bricked two TPMS modules on a 2013 good, I did program a 2018 rogue Key and on a 2018 civic I did replace vin on a USED Ecu and was able to program the keys..

Please don't it do ecu programming for ford and Hyundai/Kia cars and does it read pin codes for chrysler and Hyundai/Kia cars

Hi, I enjoy your channel so I went to diagnostic world and ordered the icon Max directly from them for $459 which I purchased this for my 2023 911 target GTS being super excited after watching your videos I plugged it in, but it doesn’t recognize my vehicle and it says something like does not support or does not recognize. I’ve left numerous messages with their support team sent numerous emails and they basically said sorry it doesn’t support your vehicle. I’m super bummed now. I’m stuck with this thing.
I don’t want anybody to have this problem. But any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Just received from genuine official link at Amazon and it was obviously a return as the pad had a pin number to enter, the instructions was missing and power adapter missing. This item is a brick to me. Working with Amazon return process to get refund.
