Best way to stay in work is to build a good network of recruiters who are keen to help get you into your next job. You need to be working in the industry for some time but once you've got some years behind you, people will literally find you your next job without you needing to do anything. So make friends.

Right, applying physically is the best. But consider such situations me and my fellow graduates right now:
- barely have money to travel 300+ km
- no money for rent in the area
- have to job hunt physically in that area if interviews were a bust
- no idea how long will stay since interviews aren't walk-ins, thus a recurring issue with rent costs

tho i do have a wfh job and let's say im lucky because my university provided a list of companies i can apply to for internships. got accepted there for my full-time (i used it as FT not internship lol).

if i didnt have a job right now, i'd be travelling and wasting more money, or be jobless and do the work online.

nice strategy btw. one of the good old methods my seniors did.

Nice strategy. Reconnaissance and OSINT gathering.

I got my first job through LinkedIn through a recruitment company, as a fresh graduate with no experience.
