MYTH: Talc is banned in the EU

Me, sitting here in Germany, the middle of the EU, happily using my non-banned talc makeup, dry shampoo and other goodies. I think the warning for talc concerns mostly breathing it in, which is not good for you. But then, inhaling most things isn't all that good for you...

Yes, it's the same with parabens. Some ppl say they're banned here in EU but they are not. They are not that common because of bias around them but they still can be used.

i live in ireland and talcum powder is literally so common here, go into any pharmacy and there’s like 20 brands of the same talcum powder 😭 so many deodorants have talc too

To my knowledge, the only problem with talc as an ingredient is when there’s been contamination. That’s why J&J got in trouble for their baby powder, because they knew there had been asbestos contamination and was selling it anyway. But, if it’s not contaminated, there’s nothing wrong with it.

Haha yeah, I used talc powder daily as a kid (here in Ireland). It's super common and easy to find.

I stopped using talc powder 20 years ago after my best friend (who also used it daily) had read somewhere it was linked to cancer particularly anal cancer. I’ve missed using it, so thank you !

Haha, I'm watching from Germany and about 90% of powder makeup products have talc in them. Could you possibly make a video on the controversy around talc? ☺️

I started using talcum powder instead of make up powder during the pandemic to take the shine off my sunscreen because I just couldn't stand the sight if on my mask. It's SO CHEAP guys. I'll let y'all know if I croak😇 Edit: typo

Few products are really in large bottles and travel size is sometimes not available ... Can I transfer them in travel size bottle so that I can carry them easily ... If yes then in what kind of container??
