As a recent subscriber I'm enjoying your films, and all the schemes of work. It's all interesting to see success as well as failure. As a bloke just turned 65 I've had my fair share of skinned knuckles, and crawling around on the floor. Good on you mate.👍

Oh mate that battery tray was a pain 😬😊, I like the ideia of the grey colour ... Like you said it’s quite a big effort restoring a classic car but you are definitely doing the right way mate, it’s going to look awesome 🙌🙌👍👍👍

Like your videos.

I am doing up my 1953 split screen in Black.
Been thru all what your doing and still at it.

Doing up all the electrics from scratch.

The Devilbiss GT Pro/Sata is an excellent gun for spray painting.

You don't know how tempted I'd be to sound-deaden every hidden surface with it all pulled apart like that... ;)

Considering her age and the NZ weather, she's a pretty solid unit. Good to see her get some love.

spot welds are always fun. I have used the tools like that but buy the kits with a dozen tips in (they blunt easily) I drill a small pilot hole to hold the tip steady. If I repair / reuse the panel the plug weld will fill the pilot hole. If I use a new panel the pilot hole will be hidden (or if really fussy plug it with the mig n flap disc over it). Makes it so much easier.

The Morris is starting to look really good now that you’ve got the engine bay stripped and cleaned up. You’ve come a long ways with it Jonathan. Keep up the good work. 😀👍

This is an excellent series Mr B (Jonathan ?). Really nostalgic for an old geezer like me, think I said this before but you started with a decent car, in MUCH better condition than my 1970 Traveller when I bought her over 30 years ago and I'm now hoping, at long last, to finish a long -running restoration. Thanks for sharing

Looking forward to seeing it on the rotisserie and getting to grips with any bodywork issues. Well done on the battery box removal, definitely not the easiest thing!

Really enjoy watching this restoration. Inspiring stuff 🙂. You make it look straight forward.. but I'm sure it isn't by any means.. It must be hard enough without filming it all aswell 👍

Working on tidying up a Morris Minor engine bay. Exactly as annoying as I remember it. Good luck with it anyway. You’re doing a great job.

Is this car getting a full restoration, it will look awesome, the one thing I have thought is insulation or sound dander for that car, also some paint to protect the floorpans, & major points where it could get rust, that would make it an awesome car/ restoration.

Great job Jonathan! That's a full time job 😳 I don't think I'd have persisted as long as you with that tool lol I would have reached for a drill of hammer and chisel 🙈😂😂
