Omgosh. Bedsharing over here with toddler too. I protested it so much before but I truly love it. The most simple bedtime routine ever! Before it was exhausting!

If for some reason, you really wanted those hair gems to stay, I recommend using eyelash glue to put them on your hair. It’s what we used to do dance competitions. And to get them out, you just remove the gem and then put a lot of conditioner on top of the glue. And brush it out with a fine tooth comb.

For muscle soreness I seriously recommend magnesium! Also some short walks are always good to get the blood pumping, a lot of soreness can come from stiffness but I can also come from not enough electrolytes

My son is just a bit older than Grace, and he went through the exact same thing of coming into our bed all the time at that age. He was still in a toddler bed, and he pretty much stopped coming into our bed once we bought him a proper bed - those toddler beds just start being uncomfortable after a while, especially for tall kids. Obviously other things go into it (like having a new sibling, being sick etc) but having a warm and comfy bed made a huge difference for our son.

Yes the wax stick definitely makes your hair greasy afterwards so definitely on wash days

Oh my god, full disclosure but while I've never been a kids person, Grace going through her lines and emoting made me laugh out loud and feel proud? She's a whole dang complex lil person!
