Random fun fact: it is considered unlucky NOT to leave your Christmas lights and indeed all decorations up till the 6th of January in the UK. It's to do with the '12 days of Christmas' which are the days the Wise Men took to get to Bethlehem. Back in the day Christmas decs went up on Christmas Eve so pine needles weren't an issue LOL.🎄
