I've missed a lot of penalties but if you dont want to miss always shot to the center the GK always move to one of the sides

Agreed, To me it's torture on shootouts... when I'm taking a pen It puts a lot of pressure, 97% of the times the cpu or player guesses the right side he saves it It's like If you must shoot the oposite way of the goalkeeper or you might be screwed it pisses me off alot

This is by far one of the most retarded penalty systems PES ever created. It is nearly impossible to miss, even when you add full power (which rarely ends up hitting the crossbar or going up high). Same story sideways-wise. Also, the new power bar gives your opponent (be it another human player or the CPU) a hint as of how high will your shot go, so if the shooter's and the goalkeeper's directions match, the goalkeeper will practically never miss. Well done Konami.

@7BeAsT9 @jotillfernandes I've tried in the past to chip the ball into the top corners. But unfortunately they simply just appear to come out as normal shots. So I don't "think" you can. But please let me know otherwise! An error? Quite possibly...

i always set little power and just before he hits the penalty i press it more so it goes higher, and it kinda confuse the opponent.

I'm afraid not @Dylansprous4eva. Though some players have preset run ups where they stop just before they shoot like Ronaldo. But its nothing that we can control...

dude if i make a powerful shot it goes out how to stop a penalty coz if a shot is in top corner goalkeeper dont stop it m talking about human player not with A.I

Yes man, but if u play with your friends u have more chanse to defend a penaly, cuz if its low power idicate on screen or high u have less sides where oposite side can shot, Sorry for bad english

Then i think i´m really bad. because if i give full power the ball passes above the goalkeeper and misses. same with the direction. bu i agree that the bar allows the other player to know how you´re shooting

not true, if you press full bar power your shot will go up don't lie this penalty system is very real

una cuando le quito toda la ayuda en los pases ..siento que sigo con la ayuda, ya que paso sin ningun problema...alguien mas le ha pasado esto y por que sucede?
