You forgot the jet engine sound effect that comes with the ps4 version, really adds to the ambiance of the game.

Played the whole game on ps4, still ran great and looked amazing, I did crash it twice by using the spear storm and Atreus’ falcons at the same time though lol

I played 2 hours on ps4 slim it ran great and there was no fan noise console was cool and no frame drops

Honestly I truly think this game not being for next gen was one of the things that held it back. Don’t get me wrong the game is great, but it could’ve been so much more. Imagine the Ragnarok fight at the end, an army fighting another army right in front of us, instead of the typical wave sequence of enemies we got.

If your ps4 fan is going crazy during the game then you need to clean it! I have a day one ps4 and the fan was horribly loud in 2018 with GOW and RDR2, so I now make sure to take it apart and clean it every few months. Make sure there’s nothing blocking the fan. Ragnarok did great on my day one ps4

I usually tone down the brightness to 0% in most games to give off that cinematic esthetic of the real world.

I played on the good old standard ps4 and it honestly ran and looked perfectly fine. Really didn't feel like i missed out on much in terms of graphic and performance. It did stutter hard for some seconds a few times, but never during combat. Usually during fast travel for some reason. Only happened like 7 or 8 times over a 50 hours playthrough, while it otherwise ran smooth as butter for the whole time.
I did have an issue with input lag, tho. Don't know if that's a ps4 problem or if it happens everywhere. I got used to it, so i barely noticed after a few hours but definitly feels very off at first

Just got a ps5 thought I’d play through the game again to see, it feels and looks a whole lot different, game is so much smoother and everything just loooks perfect
