I always wanted to play SG but then I realized I’m only going to be 6’1 so I might aswell learn the PG skills.

I have a question. My whole middle school life K was the tallest player on the court (5’8’-5’10) my coach only really taught me how to defender, rebound and conditioning to get me to jump higher, i’ve never really had a choice to play pg even tho I really wanted to. Now last year I had a short growth spurt i’m not 6’2 and im not the tallest player anymore, im more of a guard now. I occasionally practice with varsity and realize im not the tallest person im the point guards height. I realized I had no real other skills other than driving in and defending. So I think I should learn how to be a point guard for my upcoming future.
