TEIA, Chris, Sevi and Andrew, also known as The Royal Poly Family, are a family of 4 adults who are all in a polyamorous relationship with each other. They also share 4 children together and live in a 1100 square foot home. Chris and Teia have been together for 8 years and Sevi and Andrew have been married for 12 years. As a blended family, they have all been together for just under a year. This all started when Sevi told Andrew she was interested in polyamory (Teia and Chris had already been polyamorous for 5 years) and then both ladies became a couple in April 2022. When Sevi initially expressed interest in polyamory, Andrew wasn't aware of it and took offence to it because he thought it would be another woman instead of him. However this wasn't the case as both women expressed interest in each other's partners and they all started a polyamorous relationship with each other. Teia decided to share their story on social media because she wanted to normalise polyamory but this brought a lot of judgement. Teia told Truly: "As far as the negative comments online, we laugh at them because we know what's happening in our house and we know that it is filled with love and support and nobody else can take that from us, they don't get that power."

Less than a year is still fresh. I would like an update in 5 years. Hope they last.

A lot of kids have four parents these days (parents + step). These parents happen to live together, know communication is essential, and bring it all together for the kid’s interests. I wish them the best.

So basically there are 2 bisexual women and 2 straight men, I don’t see it as a 4 way relationship. If the men are not intimate with each other then the circle is not complete, they’re basically 2 polyamorous couples living together, that’s it. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong but rather an unconventional way of living which might be right for some people.

This is not love, this is lust.... I hope these people get the help they need, and can find true happiness.

The lady with the glasses is madly in love with the other womans husband. Very obvious.

I think it's awesome that the kids have 4 parents to support them instead of just 2.
I hope their relationships lasts for a long time

They are all consenting adults and don't need permission from anyone. As long as the children are taken care of and it seems that they are! Just don't forget to make time for yourselves as individuals, be cause you are all giving a lot into these relationships.

They're been together for "just under a year", so I'd like to see them in some years. Since Anthropologists say humans can have only a soulmate at a time, will they be together and prove love can be achieved even in poly relationships? I'm genuinely curious

So funny when she said someone said " Your just trying to have you cake and eat it to" and she shakes her head strongly saying "YES." Ha! we should all feel worthy of having what we want and even more. Such an old stupid saying that keeps people small and limited.

Seems really cool in theory. But I don't feel like everyone one of the four people were 100% happy in this union.

I respect all your opinions but I can't handle such a thing. It's weird...so weird.

Congratulations to you all. Your family is dynamic and very obviously strength-based, along with explorations and definitely love. It shows, it's obvious and the kids are able to envision what life can actually be. Not based on societal norms, societal divorces and the constant looking for love in expected ways, but it's really authentic when it is formed in unexpected ways. I really admire all of you and I wish you a prosperous life and a journey filled with happiness!

If children are involved with parents who practice polyandry or/and polygamy, I do hope they plan far ahead how to prepare the kids for the outside world.

When their parents (or even some teachers) say there’s nothing wrong with polyandry and polygamy, but the church, the media, their friends, the society say “it is unacceptable and wrong, ” chances are strong they’ll be inclined to side with everyone else over what they learn from school or home.
