For those watching this and don't own either the ew200 nor the may: ew200 is a BRIGHT iem, may is a WARM iem, fully customizable with a plug and play usb c cable with inbuilt EQ. maybe... Just maybe it is worth the price... I think May's is a great warm iem, great treble extension, smooth, detailed, and the best sub 100 "whole package" ATM.

Great to see Moondrop retaliating with a decent release but infortunately for them the Market is very competitive this year the likes of Simgot have been great and constistent all year. Hope Moondrop will come back stronger next year.

The EA500LM is lovely, and Simgot should just be called Simgoat at this point. Moondrop has been moondropping the ball a lot lately, but you have to give them the chance to redeem themselves. Otherwise what are we doing here?

The DSP cable's QC is not the best. Like Jay said in his previous video, Moondrop is one of the worst chifi brands this year, just try Tanchjim One/Zero.

I'm climbing aboard this train 🚂 Do you have any notes on the fit of the new EA500 LM? I really love Simgot but sometimes their shallow nozzles combined with the weight of the metal shells makes their IEM slip out of my ears.

I'm curious about trying the Moondrop May, as the Simgot EA500 was too bright and aggressive for my ears. But that looking of May is indeed very unpleasant.

Just heard the May. Sounds great on the Harmon preset. It's definitely worth the price for the cable alone. Imo the iems alone are worth the price (harmon preset as the tuning though). So imo it's a steal for $70. Should cost $140 or more imo
