this is how i beat this: my expectation is the reality, so when somebody does a nice thing im over the moon and when they dont it doesnt affect me because i was expecting it. The key to happiness is to do things for people without expecting anything in return that way you can never be disappointed or angry with anyone

Man I did a small job for a neighbor and was expecting only $40 it took total 3 hours but should have done it in 20 min lol but she gave me $100 I was like no way I can't take this but she was like it's all good I would have paid more if I hired a license worker lol

What you want that much for a bathroom floor its only 2x2. But yes love i have to cut round a toilet, a sink pedestal, pipes and architraves and you want it with a border, feature strip and with your cats name in old English lettering in the middle, plus I've got to take the old one up that your husbands dad decided to araldite down straight to the subfloor but badly, , plus you've chosen the most expensive flooring known to man. As I say to the Mrs, size doesn't matter, ... she said judging by last time quality doesn't either.

Mates rates always means getting paid less, you're doing a favour for a friend. The only time you're going to get more is if it's percentage of a sale (ie. you did half the work so you get half the sale price)
