Biden "Wanders Off" at G7 Summit, Salutes Italian PM Awkwardly | Firstpost America

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is hosting the 50th Group of Seven or G7 Summit. The G7 leaders have agreed upon a 50-billion-dollar deal to fund Ukraine through frozen Russian assets. Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden has signed a 10-year security pact with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to strengthen Kyiv's defence against Russian forces. However, the highlight of the first day of the summit was Biden making yet another series of gaffes, as he seemed lost while being with G7 leaders in Italy and saluted Meloni awkwardly while greeting her. Now, the second day of the summit, which will end on Saturday, will focus on China's economic and political ambitions.

President Biden was looking at a paratrooper who had landed nearby and was about to approach that individual when he was asked to have a picture taken with the group and the paratrooper who had been assigned to be in that picture.
Far from being an example Biden’s lack of attention, it was actually an example of his attentiveness to others.
Maybe when we are presented with these kinds of clips, instead of being led to false assumptions, we can remember that we’re not seeing the full picture.
