Norwegian From Zero: Lesson #1 - Hva er dette? (What is this?)

Norwegian From Zero is a series of language lessons for absolute beginners to learn Norwegian. The videos are 100% in Norwegian, and use images to make the new vocabulary and grammar comprehensible. In today's video we learn how to ask what something is, what something isn't, and how to respond.

Don't try to memorize anything, just follow along and try to understand what you're hearing.

This is a great start to my learning, as a complete beginner knowing absolutely zero Norwegian I wanted to find a comprehensible input beginners Norwegian course/teacher, but found it close to impossible to find much ~Huge Thank you for making these lessons

As somebody who was born in Norway but emigrated at a very young age, and not really being able to learn in any real way outside of being self-taught as my family essentially stopped speaking the language ever since we moved, this is fantastic for me.

I mostly struggle with hearing Norwegian properly and thus also speaking it, but writing is much easier.

Hey, I'm so glad to find you channel. I have listened more than 150 hours of spanish input by now and this method really worked for me. Always wanted to learn some of north germanic languages, especially icelandic, but there is no comprehensible input videos in islenska. We have what we have, so let it be norsk :) Thank you for your work, I guess it's really hard to make comprehensible input videos especially for beginners. +1 subscriber
