On Thanksgiving night, a group of disgruntled toy store employees begrudgingly arrive for work to open the store at midnight for the busiest shopping day of the year. Meanwhile, an alien parasite crashes to Earth in a meteor. This group of misfits led by store manager Jonathan (Bruce Campbell) and longtime employee Ken (Devon Sawa) soon find them themselves battling against hordes of holiday shoppers who have been turned into monstrous creatures hellbent on a murderous rampage on Black Friday.

This was a fantastic throwback to the campy movies that us horror fans fell in love with in the 80s and 90s. Great practical effects, good performances and a nice tight run time at an 1hr20. The filmmakers set out to make a fun, no nonsense B movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, with all the trappings that splatter fans can appreciate and Black Friday achieved this goal. Highly recommend this this one👌

I feel like this should have been an Evil Dead/Army of Darkness sequel with Ash(Bruce Campbell) working at S-Mart, but somewhere down the line the studio changed the concept to appeal to a wider audience.

This better have AT LEAST one evil dead reference in it. I don't care if it's a chainsaw, a boom stick, Bruce telling someone to "gimme some sugar" or the word groovy. If none of these happen we riot!

It's actually pretty good. No cgi or techno music fight scenes. Just good ol fashioned campy horror. I enjoyed it.
