It be interesting if the villain in addition to making a carving board out of the town's folks, he also takes a John Kramer approach to his motivations, wanting people to appreaciate each other, etc on Thanksgiving.

I was initially very much not excited, as I thought "a Thanksgiving horror film?" But then I learned it's based on a fake trailer from Grindhouse Double Feature, which actually makes this sound a lot better. I want to see it now. I hope that Eli Roth doesn't disappoint.

It's heartening to know that they can still make such movies with so much power in it. Good acting, impressive direction, classic screenplay & a brilliant story. This one will go down as a horror classic in a few decades, I feel. You must watch it. Time spent well.
