Red Rising! Red Rising! The whole series is * chef's kiss*. It's probably my favorite sci-fantasy series. The world-building, the characters, the scheming and the violence - it's all handled so well. The're such fast reads too due to how intense red rising is - there are barely breathers in this series. It's just one thing after another. The newest book is going to come out in July this year so I am really excited to see you get into this series! The series gets much darker and crazier in later books, I hope you'll like it. I know some readers had mixed feelings about the first book (i loved it) but it gets even better and more original from book 2 (Golden Son) onwards.
