I absolutely love When Breath Becomes Air and also cried inconsolably when I finished it. I'm currently applying to medical school and read lots of physician memoirs but I didn't expect this to almost be like a letter to his daughter showing her who he was as a person because she'll never know. It was so poignant and beautiful and I would definitely recommend it to everyone no matter what they like to read!
