I think this is being overblown. The guy has a right to state his opinion. Doesn’t mean he’s not greatful to be at Bayern. Davies is a great player, he has the right to state his preferred position.

Give me a break, Ale. Davies isn't comparing himself with Robben, he just said that he was brought in with the expectation to play up front. If he wants to play up front, he doesn't need to settle for a career in the back just for the honour of playing at Bayern. He's been there and done that and if he wants he can get into the front with another club. He obviously doesn't love life in Germany, so if he's not loving work either than what's the point? Again ESPN proves that they don't know what they are talking about. If they took their time and watched the clip of Davies talking about playing as a left-back, he clearly was half joking about wanting to be a full-time winger. He even said that the way Bayern plays, he usually is high up on the pitch, so he doesn't mind. For ESPN to go this hard on him, talking about his injuries and to keep quit, etc., is just a low blow. They should try to watch the clip instead of just overreacting to some quotes that are not in full context.
