Currently have the 208 GTLine 100hp and picking up my new 208 GT premium 130 in 2 weeks. I’ve never had the same model of car twice, that’s how good the 208 is.

I’m 54 and have lived in N America for 30 years, Denmark for 24. Have owned 14 different new cars from Audi to Volvo. The 208 Diesel with adaptive cruise etc is the best car I have driven. Plain and simple a real joy to drive.

I had one in this colour for 18 months and LOVED it. Swapped for an e208 GT premium after 18months in Vertigo Blue. Love it also!

Panoramic roof is awesome, smart that it doesn't open less a chance it will leak later.
I have that roof in my 2007 Grand Picasso and it's holding up great no leaks!

Just downsized from a 10yr old 308 eHDi with a manual box, to a 2yr old 208 Allure 8spd Little cramped but the joy of not having to change gears during my daily commutes is already making for a much nicer drive every time. The tech is baffling somewhat, but getting into it each week of the 3wks I've owned the car already.

Yes but the fiesta has been discontinued in quite a number of countries. Ford no longer makes cars even for south africa. So options are limited 208, opel corsa its cousin, polo, hyundai i20

They don't seem to do the 130 petrol engine any more.

Great little car had one as courtesy car and driving BMW 530 was more than comfortable enough over distance and nippy in town quality felt very good

At 1:32 '.... thanks to its 56 kW battery...' That makes no sense. You presumably mean 56 kW h battery (56 kilowatt hour). Watts are units of power, and power it the rate at which energy is generated or consumed. I have a 2 kW kettle, but that doesn't mean it takes 2 kW to boil a kettleful. It just means that 2 kW kettle will do the job in half the time of a 1 kW kettle. The amount of energy required is the product of power and time, and could be measured in kilowatt hours, although that's not a unit scientists would use.

The 208 has the best exterior, but I dont like the interior.

I test drove one today. Very disappointing. My foot wouldn't fit between the clutch and the foot rest, I'm only a size 8. The view of the dials is severely compromised and you are forced to adopt a steering wheel position that's far from optimum. The steering is ludicrously light and lacks any feel at all. The 'box is passable, a little rubbery in it's feel but accurate enough. The engine I drove was the 100 bhp and it was lively enough for it's size, no perceptible lag on acceleration or after running the needle to the redline and changing gear then getting hard on it again. (unlike my Swift sz-t which has a monumental chasm in boost after a spirited change). I really wanted to like the car after driving the Fiesta St line mhev, but I just couldn't. The looks are stunning but for gods sake how hard is it to just make sure you can see the dials and reach the foot rest?? Without these issues I'd have bought one on the spot, as it is I didn't and I won't. Massive fail Peugeot.

Can't fault the styling but Peugeot are being ridiculously stubborn with the I cockpit concept. It's very divisive. Must be costing sales. Vauxhall Corsa is the sister car and it proves it's not essential. Whilst on the subject of the Corsa. Vauxhall and Peugeot please bring back the VXR and GTi or Peugeot Performance ( if you want to call it that). Many enthusiast drivers are left with no option but to switch to Ford, VW, Hyundai or nearly anyone else. Parker's need to include pricing as well
