I sincerely apologize to all those I have hurt with my ilegal actions and behaviour in all of my past videos. I learned my lesson and I promise to try to improve in the future

remorseful, please delete videos that encourage crimes like this. Anyone can say it with just words. The problem is that I can't see any sign of remorse in the fact that he continues to release videos like this, even though he says he is remorseful. It's better to get arrested once

What the Japanese are looking for is an apology and compensation, not your poor excuse.
You have to reflect on your actions.

If you want to apologize, you should pay money to JR and hotel first.
If everything settling down by just typing "apolgize", we don't need law, police, and court.

Some of you may be saying, "Japan, do they call the police just for not paying 80 cents or so?" Yes, that's right. In Japan, you will be arrested and have a criminal record.

If you cannot accept Japanese laws, please do not come to Japan. Begging and riding without paying are both serious crimes in Japan.
If you cannot accept Japanese culture, we recommend that you do not come to Japan.

In your country, is it acceptable to commit any crime if you say "I didn't mean it"?

JR, which operates Japan's Shinkansen, announced that it would take strict legal action after consulting with the police. Nowadays, it is becoming a hot topic in Japan that ``no one should be allowed to escape, even if they are outside the country.''

The title of your next video should be "I spent a year in prison experience in Japan."

We Japanese people are criticized for being quiet, but that comes from our consideration for others. But if the other side is against us, we will do our best.

Those who have written comments here defending him should never leave their country.
In a country governed by the rule of law, bad things are all defined in the country's criminal law.
Those who cannot abide by them are not only causing trouble to the people of the country they are visiting, but also degrading their own country.

Riding without paying is a serious crime in Japan.

One of Japan's main rail operators said Tuesday it is investigating four foreign YouTubers who seemingly took free rides on trains around the country, in the latest case of fame-seeking foreign nationals' antics riling residents.
A YouTuber known as Fidias, who has 2.38 million subscribers, posted a video over the weekend of the four riding trains around Japan without paying for tickets.

At one point Fidias hides in a toilet of a bullet train, pretending to be ill when confronted by a ticket collector, and escapes to board another train where he pulls the same trick.

Another clip shows him entering a hotel and pretending to be a guest in order to get free breakfast.

I feel sorry for those kind people who gave you money / gave you a lift in Japan. They would not do the same things if they knew what you did.

This channel should be banned forever. The crime indirectly provides his income from YouTube.

For everyone trying to protect him about his conduct in japan and saying "He didn't do anything wrong, he's a good person" Please wake up. He committed multiple crimes, ran and lied from the authority, disrespected the Japanese community, took advantage of their generosity and good will and Even if he faked everything, the whole purpose of that video was just plain dumb, He could've just hitchhiked or stayed in the most popular city of Japan but instead he does this. He also "Apologized" to the Japanese Community saying that the video wasn't intended or meant to make them feel bad, coming from the same person who went into japan with the sole intent of breaking their law and acting like he's completely unaware of what he did something wrong. He didn't even properly shoutout the competitors or plug their channels in the description despite saying otherwise in the video. AND because of his actions, Foreigners are following his steps and it's leaving a really bad impression for us tourists since they represent US.

In countries other than Japan, would continuing to commit petty crimes be accepted as just a joke?
