Only Noobs Install a Widebody On a Car Like This

Id rather just take the original fender and make an entirely new one that i can bolt on rather than cut an existing one. The only reason i say that is if for whatever reason you turn around and dont like it, you can just put the old fenders back on. Plus with some cars fenders can be pretty hard to come by or become hard to come by in the future, so preserving them for others in the future would be my go-to

Either do it with metal and welding like it would be from the factory, or dont do it at all, riveted and bolted fender flares look shit and cutting your 60k car for 300$ flares is idiotic.

The word WIDE BODY has been misused way too many times. The procees you are showing is known as FENDER FLARES or FENDER FLARING. The term WIDE BODY means the expanding of the body, not the fender. If you want the true definition of wide body is a 1976 AMC PACER. That car was built with small but with a wide body to accommidate more people inside. And now I see that FENDER FLARING has return & made a comeback since the disco & van customizing days. So stop using the word WIDE BODY if your not truely widening the body of vehicle. If you're just widening or expanding the fenders, it really means you are just fender flaring, got it?
