well i'm a guitarist originally from nashville and still have alot of love for the musicians from my home town. As a kid i didnt want anything to do with country music but once you move away and get over your teenage self old country and real country music is like listening to your childhood and your history. Mr. Mason sure turned on the shred in this vid. chris scruggs is also a fantastic guitarist with a story to accompany every lick. and, besides just country, william tyler has a certain touch thats old and new at the same time. not to mention the great steel players old and young; guys like luke schneider who was fantastic in the old nashville mathy instrumental band "character" but also does solo stuff on steel or more pop meets old country with margo price. nashville guitar has a great community

I was in a band at one time that opened for Ricky Skaggs when Ray Flacke was playing guitar for him (ala One Way Rider)...this is taking Ray's playing to another level...and that was a pretty high level to begin with. just wow. thanks for posting.

I'm not a country boy, but I love Nashville and can't deny how magnificent their musicians are. I just found out about Brent through Wampler pedals. Damn he's good! I must say from a drummer's perspective this is also one of the most fun things to play and listen to. Cheers from Thunder Bay!

I grew up 6 miles from the Mason brothers. His brother Randy is a fabulous musician in his own right with some pretty amazing credits. Used to go there on occasion and watch Randy practice.
