There is only one small problem. that weld doesn't hold. i wouldn't use this welding type where a human life depends on it. this holds like a chewing gum. i'm a pro welder by the way.

This Type of welder is Great for Light/Thin material,
But the Strength of the Weld on Steel this Thick would be Minimal At Best, ,
There is Absolutely Not Enough Heat to Melt the Parent Metals Either Side into One Solid Joint..
This is a Surface WELD ONLY..NO REAL HEAT PENITRAITION OR POOLING OF THE PARENT STEELS..

These laser welds are much stronger than other welds because the beam penetrates deeper into the material but wastes less of its energy into surroundings.

Its stronger than it appears cos it have more deeper penetration into the material than tig
