Anand Ranganathan has a very valid point. Just arresting is not enough unless there is a conviction. Arresting to facilitate back-channel talks raises questions on whether ED is an investigative and enforcement agency or just a tool for the government of the day to corner its political rivals.

What Mr. Ranganathan says might be right for the past history of the central agencies but his claim about the current status of these agencies is not admissable.After all they are doing their job. Why so much of aspirations and hatred cast on them. I am afraid they would be demotivated.
