Can There Be Peace Dialogue In Manipur Between Kuki- Meiti? BJP's Sanju Verma Responds

The phone used to record the video of two women being paraded naked and molested by a mob in Manipur has been seized by officials probing the case, a source told India Today. The May 4 video, which surfaced on July 19, sparked nationwide outrage. The case will now be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The source also said that the government will seek the trial of this case outside the state, in a court in neighbouring Assam. The government is likely to reach out to the Supreme Court tomorrow and put forth its demands.
