I received my new replacement Asus L210 laptop with Windows 11 OS. Once I fully charged the laptop to 100% I shut it down and let it sit for two days (48 hrs). After I started it the battery was still a a 100% charge. Since I will be using both battery and electric power I set future charges to charge to the recommended 80%. My laptop has been holding the charge ever since. New laptop batteries should not loose their charge. It's not Windows 11 it's almost always the battery if the laptop is losing a charge more than 1-2% in complete shutdown after a few days. Asus states the same thing.

I just shipped a brand new Asus laptop back. The battery would drain between 48-54% after being fully charged and sitting after being fully shutdown in a 24 hour period. I went through all the settings read and watched many videos to no avail. I would have liked to see if this would have worked but it's too late now. My laptop actually got stuck in a snowstorm and was very late getting to me because then Christmas arrived. I figured it was a defective battery possibly due to the extreme temperatures the battery encountered on it's journey. Very disappointed. :( I am glad I found your video though... incase I run into the same issue with the replacement. Thanks.

I am getting a message saying that disabling device will cause it to stop functioning. Do you want to disable it? This message is scaring me. My laptop is drained when I turn on to use. Even it was charged last time when I had it plugged in while in use.

I have tried everything, this works on windos 10. Laptop is not shutting down when battery goes under 85%

Disabling the Intel Management Engine (ME) can cause a laptop's battery to drain faster in suspend mode. This is because disabling the ME prevents the laptop from reaching its lowest power state, which is used for modern standby (S0ix)

it was 100 percent charged. then i closed it, and unh plugged it. when i opened it, it was almost dead. idk whats going on but every time i close it and not have it plugged in it loses its battery, even if when i close it and unplug it it is fully charged.

HP 11, battery randomly drains the light, it's red should be white. What should I do?? it's plugged. This happens randomly whenever I unplug it but I never went to Dev Mgr to add something. I've had for several months but not 1 year. 2nd time this happen. Is it dying already?

I have msi modern 14 laptop , after 3-4 month purchasing my laptop drain battery after shut down (eg. 66% 11:00am 4 Nov, 2024 to 54% 6:00pm 5 nov 2024)

I know my laptop is done for, but Im hoping for a solution, My laptop drains and charge too fast :(, It's the first time it happens on my laptop, just started today but, My battery only last 5-10 minutes from 100% to zero then it will shutdown, When Plugged the battery, It will fully charged in just 5 minutes, unplug it, will last only for 10 minutes to zero%, Charge it again, will be fully charged in 5 minutes then REPEATS, (Can anyone knows a solution to this? I know that keeping it plugged every time I use will just worsen the problem since I use this laptop for gaming) :( PLS
