The #Kowalski family is suing Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital for false reporting of child abuse that they claim, led to the mother's death. The story inspired the #Netflix documentary 'Take Care of Maya.'

Beta's closing words broke my heart even more than after learning of this case and documentary. I also spent my childhood behind The Iron Curtain. We, who were lucky to escape the nightmare, will never be able to convey fully what her words truly mean. This juducial system's draconian nightmare, hospital's reprehensible behavior and doctors' malpractice should be shared widely to hopefully spare another family this unbearable pain and not another life lost. Malik and Smith are monsters. My heart goes out to to the family, especially beautiful Maya who lost a mother who loved her to the moon and back. 😢💔🖤🥀

That was so wrong she had the diagnosis before she went to that hospital but they refused to believe what anyone said including about the drug she was prescribed to help her accusing her mother of purposely making her sick and not believing her father either they basically didn’t believe anyone ‼️ It’s really sad that her mother killed her self because of what they believed she was doing I sincerely hope that something good come’s out of this tragedy if it doesn’t then her mother killed her self for nothing 😢🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am going through the same thing because my mother has CRPS…. Nobody believes anything I say about her she’s in excruciating pain most of the time she is now on hospice in my home and I’m treating her with the best therapies that I can without the consent of doctors and nurses…. Our healthcare system is completely non-functional.
