Its just another tool, some will use it for ideas, some will abuse it to cover a lack of skill but learning to draw and paint traditionally or digitally will be just fine. I'm just old enough to remember when people debated if photoshop was going to kill art

I've been studying Machine Learning and AI for the past two years with the intention of working on creative AI. From my standpoint I'll say that history will decide whether outputs are considered art and prompt writers are considered artists. It's an interesting debate to have but with the pace in which the AI tech advances in every creative field, from writing to music, it'll be difficult to have a solid stance on this when the ground is rapidly moving beneath your feet.

AI art is definitely an art in my eyes. You are taking a generated piece and then create it issuing own sketches I to an art that has different textures etc.
