Love that carb mod! A little Methanol and Castor oil would make it nice and stinky too!

Don't know much about chainsaw I did do lot of 2 stroke performance mods on Motocross and jet skis we used to put bigger carb, shave down the head raise the compression, and port the cylinder. We also put a tuned expansion pipe although mostly motocross not the ski's. The chainsaw you only care about max RPM power so tune it for that powerband kind of like the ski were no transmission don't care about lower RPM power only want wide open power. Once took a KX500 bored it to 550cc did all the stuff above had to run race fuel in it. Was built for the sand dunes Glamis couldn't keep the front wheel down it had so much power scary. Took it to the drag race track put street tires on it did 1/4 mile only to the 3rd gear turned 11.1 at 124 mph. Got a bunch of speed wobble twice was last time I took it to a track sold it few years later that was in the late 80's. It would be fun to tinker with a chainsaw need to pick me up one maybe an old Echo. RC airplanes use 2 strokes gas engines nowadays instead of the old nitro engines from 40 to 440CC should be able to source a carb from them. I have a cheap homelite I got at HD years ago thing as 46cc bogs when you cut thicker stuff. Maybe I can tinker with that.
