This is a tutorial for COMSOL 4.2. It demonstrates how to define global parameters and variables. Using global parameters it is very easy to change geometry easily. You need global variables e.g. in order to perform a parameter sweep.

These Tutorials were created to get you going with COMSOL 4.2. The aim is to show basic principles, how to use the tools, how to extract data and so on. For each field of simulation you should however, have a good knowledge about the theory.
