Melodyne in Studio One: Adapting samples to different chords

With Melodyne in Studio One, you can import samples or tracks from different sessions into a new song. Let Rich show you how to do this, starting with identifying the key of the individual tracks and creating an accurate lead sheet using the chord track. Rich then shows how to use Note Assignment Mode to ensure the best detection and response. He then shows the different ways to view the Pitch Grid and the types of snap behavior available. Finally, he demonstrates how you can use Melodyne to manipulate the audio to suit your key, song or chord requirements.

this is my 3rd version of Melodyne and i'm finally ready to really dive into it. installation was quite simple and the thing just feels immediately responsive and intuitive.
your videos match up with what i'm finding in my DAW/environment and are real eye openers as to what we're able to do in version 5. THANKS for these clear simple yet in-depth tutorials....and of course for an amazing product. not only do we have a super efficient workhorse (including CPU-usage) but also something with huge potential for sound mangling/alteration....most invaluable bit of ware. sorry for taking this long to say so....!

But when I downloaded it and I went to files to install it, I clicked on it and a lot of files opened.

Once I tune vocal in my daw with melodyn so how can I export it again my daw as a wav

i'm sorry, but my Melodyne assistant is completely clueless on picking up key signatures, let alone scales and such... I gave it a very VERY basic G major tune, with plenty of chordal input and it came up with F#minor... and everything was tuned to unversal... it's glitchy as they come and I can't believe they charge so much for this thing. I've been trying to edit midi with this for hours, just because it SHOULD be able to edit bad notes out of chords... and i've been struggline to make this duck quack for MONTHS and all I can do is basically do everything myself long hand... and it just sucks rocks... new version and all...with pro tools STudio... I have a pro mac tower and some very serious work to do... and this is making it like excruciatingly difficult to achieve even the most mundane tasks... it just seems like A HUGE leap of faith to throw down several hundreds of dollars more to get a very basic set of functions that I've been able to find already in pro tools or waves at a much better cost and tighter intuitive interface... and i'm just pretty disgusted with the promises and the tutorials of all this crap that show me JUST HOW EASY THIS IS... it never is. Never. I just fed it a piano track, because I'm a notice pianist and wanted it to clean it up possible. It gets the chords wrong, and now it is stuck on PERCUSSIVE with no notes... and I can't change it... lol... wth... even if I can't edit chords in this version, which I should... it seems a glaring omission... just short of making this useful... so I have to plunk down a LOT more... but it's supposed to at least get the type of track correct... or change it, right?!? this is my 100th time trying to make this work... after so many attempts... I even got suckered into getting a more expensive version and it's done nothing but give me headaches. Headaches that I don't get from using waves TUNE, which can do radical reworking, sees the chords that I've aleady written into pro tools and even with radical reworking of vocal tracks still sounds amazingly natural, where if I move a vocal a whole step in this, it all of a sudden... OH... that's where the duck QUACKS! lol
