That is just sad at least they were all sleeping but the person who turned the plane into a remote area is a legend for making sure no other people would die besides them we should be way more careful checking things like that

Its worth mentioning that the flight attendant in question was also a professional scuba diver with years of experience of breath conservation, which is why he remained conscious longer than anyone else even before he accessed the portable oxygen supply

I'm Cypriot myself and remember this story very well, my father was a news reporter at that time and was called to go to the airport. When he arrived he told me that there were hundreds of family members of the passengers waiting for news. He was told earlier by the station that the plane went down, but the people knew nothing, and the most memorable thing I have from that day was his first thoughts after entering the airport and seeing all those people, he said "as I walked in I didn't see two hundred people, I saw a hundred and twenty one funerals". May they all rest in peace, our hearts are with them❤

If they had switched, this brings into perspective the importance of following the checklists properly, the accident actually happens two days before when the maintainer of the plane was doing a pressurization check on the plane and he forgot to switch the proper switch back into its original position, but during the pre flight checks somehow it went unnoticed and that finally lead to the crash

He wasn't just a flight attendant.. he was an angel who saved lives by sacrificing his own.

That flight attendant deserve to live longer he was kind hearted which is exactly what humanity need

She truly is a hero. There was no one to tell her how to fly, or talk to and make a plan... she had to know that she was not just making a choice for everyone on that plane, but with the thought to not end lives needlessly, but it must have been a very lonely situation. At least the passengers and two pilots died unconscious. No fear, or panic, sadness, or violence. They didn't even know their lives ended. Thanks to the flight attendant, no one else lost their life.
