Sony Earbuds: How to Factory Reset (WF-1000XM4) (only One Earbud works, Problems paring, etc)

I show you how to factory reset a pair of Sony earbuds WF-1000XM4. With the factory reset you are also deleting any paining info so this is an actual factory reset. This can helps if you have problems connecting, pairing, only one earbuds works, volume low on on earbuds, etc. Hope this helps.

Hi thanks for the video. I have this version sony earbuds (wf-1000XM4) but I lost the right earbud. I bought a replacement right earbud unfortunately the replacement is on Firmware version 2.0 and my remaining left earbud is on an older Firmware version. The sony app won't allow pairing if they're not on the same firmware version. Do you know of a process to get the left updated without the right being powered on?

While I didn’t use them often; mostly for vacation, I was sad to find only sound-canceling working.

my right earbud wf 1000 xm4 drains Battery in 15 minutes, the left one keeps working normal, can it be fixed with update? i have latest update already but no result.

NICE! I had an issue where I couldn't use the left earbud by itself. This fixed it.

Guys replace the battery it is much easier then replacing the bud. Just make sure do not heat up for very long time the bud will start melting, enough heat to open the bud and replace the battery it works with me
