Heard a story about a relative who had a Rottie. A burglar broke in at night. The sound of the dog mauling the burglar woke everyone up. By the time they went down stairs, the burglar had got away. Rottweilers are the PERFECT dog. I lost my male a few weeks ago and our family is still recovering. I have three young kids and he adored them. He was the protector but never met a stranger. He would patrol the yard all night watching over us until we all woke up and he would go to sleep. The worst part about these dogs is that they don’t live long and you get very attached to them.

My brother had a female and she was the best dog ever. She was about 4 when they had their first daughter and tela was so gentle and super protective of her and her two sisters that followed. Such a big baby but the best babysitter protecter ever.

"Doggie ADD"... that was cute. I raised St. Bernard's for a time, and watching them get used to their nose was hilarious. We'd be on a good run off leash in the woods and my girl would trip over her own head as her nose went down in a full stride run. When she had her puppies and we took them out, they did the same thing. I can't even put the cuteness in adequate words to describe 9 puppies, literally nose diving, and trying to walk at the same time. I miss my babies.

I house/pet sit for my brother for 2 weeks. He had a rottie named moose. That dog barreled out side when I opened the door once. It ran into the woods. It would not come back for me. 2 mins later it came back with the biggest salmon I've ever seen in it's mouth. No puncture wounds. The was not a mean bone in that dogs body. If you cornered it, it was like what game is this!? And what do I do! By the end of the 2 weeks I wanted that dog with me forever.
