World Health Organization officials said not all people who recover from the coronavirus have the antibodies to fight a second infection, raising questions as to whether or not patients develop immunity after surviving Covid-19.

The coronavirus has now infected over 500,000 people in the U.S. on Friday night, constituting almost one-third of all cases across the globe, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

As of 9:25 p.m. Eastern Time, the U.S. has recorded 500,399 cases of the coronavirus disease, or Covid-19, of which 174,481 were in New York, the data showed.

The virus, which emerged in Wuhan, China, in December, has since spread to more than 1.5 million people in almost every country around the world. On Friday, the number of deaths caused by the coronavirus worldwide surged past the 100,000 mark, doubling in nearly a week.

New York state is the epicenter of the outbreak in the country and has reported more cases than Italy, Spain, France and Germany. However, the state has shown some signs of improvement after reporting its first negative net change in intensive care admissions on Thursday for the first time since the coronavirus crisis began.

President Donald Trump has also said the number of projected deaths is now “substantially under” what health officials initially predicted.

“We’ll see what it ends up being, but it looks like we’re headed to a number substantially below the 100,000 that would be the low mark, and I hope that bears out,” Trump said.

If you pay attention what they are saying is "we would like to count all infections twice, they could get sick again." Oh man. Hilarious.

I was a covid-19 patient, according to my experience a
patient could be re-infected. I was recovered after 17 days approx. but had
sever fatigue and weakens that I could not step properly. I used to sleep most
of the time. After few days I developed symptoms again, may few dormant
fragments of virus active and antibodies developed in my body killed them but
after this I can clear feel this time lungs were somehow infected as if I walk
few steps I had to take deep breath and I could not sleep on my left and right
side I could

not inhale hair.

The people who infected first time had weak immune system as
compare to those not even infected yet, due to the weak immune system a person
get infected and it is possible he may infect again. So I don’t believe this
WHO theory i.e. are we not getting flu again ? so same is the case with
covid-19 patient so they should be declared weak immune system because it was
compromised once and should be listed in the category of high risk person.

There was a covid experiment done on 4 Monkeys (same symptoms as humans), monkeys recovered and by day 28 showed a high amount of Immunoglobin G (strongest antibodies against a viral infection). They were reintroduced to covid19 and exhibited only a temporary temperature spike. They did not test positive for covid 19 after day 28 again.
