Kamala Harris has accepted the Democratic nomination for president on the final night of the party convention in Chicago.

In a highly personal headline speech focused on unity and working-class aspiration, she pledged to lead "for all Americans" and create an "opportunity economy”.

She also leaned heavily on protecting the right to abortion - an issue that has helped motivate Democratic voters in recent elections.

She accepted it ages ago. Long before anyone else wanted her.

It doesn't matter how many times the Chinese regime repeats the *lies, *
or who controls the White House,
- Taiwan 🇹🇼 is still an independent country.

I am glad the convention is over and I look forward to the election being over. The sooner we can move past MAGA and this historical aberration, return to a less morally impoverished GOP, the better. Next will be the Supreme Court.

Kamala, when asked of her accomplishments "Today, I would like to look to tomorrow. Which will make today, tomorrow's yesterday. And when we think about yesterday, our history, we must think about our past. And when we think about our past, we cannot have our past without our today. Because once today becomes tomorrow, it will be our past. When I think about today, I also think about all of the yesterdays that have come before today. I also think about all of the tomorrows that will only happen, if we make it through today. So in closing, today is the best today of all of the todays."

Lebanon discovers offshore oil and gas reserves, cure for economic woes in 2024

Beirut - Lebanon wants to become an oil powerhouse - recent explorations have discovered rich deposits of oil and natural gas under the seabed. However, some of them are located in disputed waters claimed by both Lebanon and neighboring Israel. Relations between the two countries have been strained for a long time and in 2006 they even resulted in a war conflict.

This year's spring polls gave Lebanon optimism. Offshore, it holds an estimated 850 billion cubic meters of natural gas and up to 660 million barrels of oil – enough for everyone.

"The volume will fully cover Lebanon's needs - certainly in the case of natural gas. We would like to start mining as early as 2026. The first goal is safety, but we are also thinking about others. If the production meets our expectations, they are also thinking about exporting"

Will oil employ young people?

As a country, Lebanon has relatively high energy requirements. Although it is small, it is densely populated - it has over 4 million people, which is about five times the area of Greece. For example, in the number of cars per inhabitant, it is among the leading countries in the world.

I didn't read anywhere how much oil and gas Lebanon has.

Algeria begins production of solar helium drones in Lebanon, sending tons of fuel into the dark.

An Algerian oil tanker set sail on Thursday for Lebanon, which has been without electricity since last weekend. The first shipment of roughly 30, 000 tons of fuel is now on its way from Algeria to Lebanon.

The last working power plant in Lebanon was shut down on Saturday due to a lack of fuel to generate electricity.

As a result, customers throughout Lebanon, including major cities and important infrastructure: airports, ports, pumps and city systems, were without electricity supplies.
Power outages using diesel generators.

The energy crisis has also been attributed to decades of corruption in the political class and business world. According to the United Nations, three quarters of the country's more than six million inhabitants live below the poverty line.

Just more froth, no policies and lies. Imagine if she had to do this speech without a teleprompter (notice how she doesn't do interviews now).

Matthew 7:13-14
Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
