A little bit about me:
Hi I'm Purple Ella and my family is an autism family with three out of five of us on the autistic spectrum. I also have a connective tissue disorder (hypermobile Ehlers-danlos syndrome). So life can be a challenge but also a lot of fun.

Thank you, I so enjoyed this. I am in the middle of a crash, unable to do much, on my sofa all day... Hygge was exactly what I needed

Oh yes, hot chocolate is essential in a huge hygge mug or a pretty, cute novelty mug.

I’m actually doing something like your suggestion since winter has decided to once again torture us Canadians this year. I got a shower curtain with a beach scene on it, and I’m going to find a blow up palm tree or some other paraphernalia and make myself a nice staycation area, since going outside is now just not something sane people do.

I’m Brazilian and cafuné is actually the best feeling ever (as an autistic person, it’s so pleasing sensory wise), it’s more in your scalp really (I can’t stand when people touch the tips of my hair), it’s not really romantic, my grandmother used to do it on me all the time when I was a kid

Hygge socks are essential too - thick, stocking style ones or bed socks.

I love porridge too - it's very hygge and eaten a lot in Scandinavian countries.

Hi there - I just wanted to ask, what was/is your experience with Pawsable like? I'm asking because I've been wanting an assistance dog for a while to help me with my autism, but there's hardly any places that do autism assistance dogs for adults/older teens, and we can't have another dog since we already have 2. Thank you in advance :)

(Sorry that this isn't related to the topic of the video)

Cafuné, is not excatly running fingers through hair but more caressing of the scalp (and of course the hair does end up running through the fingers then. Unless the person is bald 😝)
And you pronounce the E as the E on "ever".

I like Hygge a lot more than the Yugo.

I toe walk without shoes on, as it feels better, otherwise I get a tingly, unbalanced sensation. Interesting your kids do this, it's common in autistic people due to sensory issues.

How to pronounce "hygge": Not "hjUge". The start is as in "hymn", not as in "huge" (not "hjy", forget the "j"). The double "gg" means that the "y" should be short, then linger on the "gg" a little longer. At the end, emphasize the "e" as much as you did the "y", and maybe even go up a little.
