AlphaZero the AI from Googe's subsiduary company DeepMind has defeated Stockfish in a match after mastering the game of chess in a mere 4 hours. AlphaZero was only taught the rules of the game but through a tabula rasa methodology it taught itself to play via trial and error by playing itself and using neural networks.

A truly historic moment in chess history!

When will Google show us opening by machines with ratings of 10, 000 or 20, 000 when 4000 rating of alpha zero algorithm can produce amazing opening we never seen before, besides Traxler, perhaps.

'defeated Stockfish in a match '...Its been my experience that what is said initially is often not relevant but what is being left out is often very relevant. This was a series of games of bullet chess. Why not make the time controls longer? Google like all institutions tends to be very self-serving and wishes to put themselves in the best light. In a world where the only thing that matters is to make things go faster the truth often goes a begging.
