Scammers are going to be very disappointed to see how low my funds are

If you chop off the hands when they get caught it might stop this crap.

Unacceptable!! It's time for the manufacturers of these machines to address this stupid vulnerability. It shouldn't be up to every single customer to wiggle and jiggle your machine and pull on all the panels to make sure it's legit!

I usually pull on the card reader when I use it. Now I don’t feel so paranoid.

It's always good to be alert no matter what the situation

Not a single actual skimmer shown. Moronic reporting.

Wow. And no one can figure out how to stop this? Like adding a manual flap that on the front of the legit card reader that must be physically opened each time but that the placement of a skimmer on top would block shut?

If only the banks were half as clever as the thieves.

I just pay cash. I get my cash from a person at the bank. So many crooks. They need to up criminal penalties.

Thanks for providing this GREAT information! I'm not a paranoid, but this shows it's simple for the criminal to steal $$, and simple for me to protect myself! (and it's that the way living right is all the time?) 🙏🙏

You can also pretend to punch in numbers as you punch in your correct number. Always hide what you are doing. People can be watching from distance also.

This happened to me here in Florida 5 years ago. They immediately used my information and bought $1000 worth of stuff from Kohl's.

In the final frames, you can see another camera under the eves also looking right down at the keypad.

Watch out for "bubble gum paper" around card slot. Also, watch too for hacker with laptop in a car. Some card skimmers work with bluetooth, which means hacker's proximity. Hence, you should spot him nearby. I once became a victim of card skinming. I refused to leave the ATM, until bank staff exited. Their bank closed to public after 4 pm. I reported card skimming. Seeing the police arriving at ATM, a respectable-looking guy stopped by in his car and asked what was going on. At that time, I didn't suspect him as a hacker with a laptop on his nap. I didn't suspect of anything. Afterwards, I researched into card skimming and discovered that hackers worked bluetooth on their card skimmers. From that day forth, I became cautious of drivers with laptops in cars near the banks or ATMs in stores.

The fact that skimmers now use bluetooth or cellular data networks means that gas station owners need to deploy jammers to prevent the devices from transmitting data back to the bad guys. if I were gas station owner, I would be doing just that. It is not illegal for that purpose as you are merely protecting your property

Scammers got my sister TWICE when she used her credit card at a Kroger Fuel Center in West Virginia. A woman in New York state was making purchases with her credit card number. Be careful!
