I tried this with my oneplus 7 pro and it worked superb. It took me 20-25mins to do this with a thin needle. I tried multiple cables and was facing the issue everytime. Make sure you switch off your phone if you are using any metal thing to insert in it.

Just cleaned my Oneplus 8T :) My Phone was not Charing properly for almost 3 months and when I started cleaning, it stopped charging completely.
