I bought a new Saab 99 in 1970 and a used Saab 96 in 1975 and loved them both, fun little cars and great in snow!

My 02 9-3 Convertible broke down 233 miles from Sturgis on my way to the convention. Ended up towing it back to Missouri and missed everything. Thanks for filming this, at least I get to see some of what I missed out on.

He is right about the T5 swap. Changes it from an engine that runs like a 70's beemer, to a late 90's Saab.

The video I've waited and very much looked forward to, awesome video Jacob, seems like you enjoyed the 605. The laser red last gen 9-5 is everything, and the color looks amazing on that body style.

You really know your Saabs! My first car was a 9000 -90 light blue metallic with rims like those at 6:14. Unfortunately someone broke into it, which I heard is very easy, wrecked the interior and stole 2 of the tires. I have a black 9-3 -03 Vector now.

Thanks for the video.
The initial car you focused on, with satin black paint, started life as a 96. (The 93 was an earlier model with a more sloping rear end and a bull nose, from the 2 stroke era)

At 10:24 - that looks like it may be the car which belongs to Dennis Lin. If so, that's been modified to the Nth degree and would be worthy of an episode all to itself.
