Rattling noise Corolla 2002. With a check engine light on. Changed water pump and tensioner pulley. Still rattles on and off . Check engine light comes on every 5 to six days. Thank you very much.

Thanks... I've got doubts all of them apply to "when accelerating" condition, for example damaged shocks and leaf springs?
I would think these would produce some noise on the move whether you are accelerating or not.

Mine only clunks till 40 mph then all is quiet. We have 150, 000 miles on it and I know I need to shocks n struts but wasn’t sure about that damn clunking. But I will definitely check the CV joints. I hadn’t thought of those. I also haven’t had it on the hoist is some time since I’ve been batting cancer.

Helpful, I think! Big thud when start moving and thought was tranny, but after watching, thinking it is more likely a mounting issue of tranny, motor, or drive train if that has a mount. Once moving, no issue with transmission shifting, noise, whatever, so vid helped me realize that. TY. 08 lincoln mkz is any thoughts. Will get it on rack to see if mount issues.

just purchased a 2004 chevy impala and out of the five times I've drove it, twice when I was stopped at the light and then hit the gas to go there was a rumbling sound when accelerating fast. like cracking rocks for like a second and then no noise, is that the motor mount you think? I just had the rotors, brakes, control arm done so why didn't the mechanic see this problem? please help. thanks

my naturally aspirated Forester 2009 automatic transmission has developed this clunking under the following conditions:
1. only when accelerating - no sharp cornering would cause the noise if your foot is not pushing on the accelerator pedal
2. the clunking starts at speed over 30-40 km/h, accelerating at slower speeds is not producing clunking
3. both condition 1) and 2) are necessary to trigger clunking, but the noise is getting more pronounced when the car is turning RIGHT, like on the roundabout.
Also, turning RIGHT reduces the speed threshold when clunking first appears, so it would start at 20 km/h instead of 40 km/h when driving straight.
I cannot determine the direction where the clunking is coming from.

My 2009 sonata makes a clunk noise when accelerating, but it only does it after 20 minutes of driving. Changed control arms, engine mounts, transmission mount. Still makes noise. It is so aggravating. Why would it make noise only after warming up?

Noise is from passenger side, and only happens when i accelrate from stopping position. For the very first few seconds then goes away.

Tapping nose when decelerating. What do you think is the issue on my 2004 ford explorer XLT?

Out of all 8, I probably have the most expensive problem😭

This is a problem with the 2017 Explorer.
If you quickly release the accelerator while shifting from 1st gear to 2nd gear or 2nd gear to 3rd gear, a noise will be heard from under the driver's seat.
Also, when operating d->r or r->d in a stopped state, noise is made. Please help me.

My 2018 MB GLA45 AMG rattles when changing gears usually from 1-3. Whenever i tap the gas ever so slightly it rattles. While driving it goes away, while braking still nothing, but with acceleration it rattles. Would you know what could this be?

Your video was awesome. I possibly have either 1-4 not..
02 Kia Sedona. When you put it in gear it seems like it wants to die but it's fine in P or N.
When we try to accelerate we get a clunking sound from the front an it Boggs down as it's clunking like then all of a sudden it sometimes takes off Or we just barely press the gas. Most of the time we have to put it in low gear #1 an shift upwards. #3 gear is where we drive it most of the time cuz you try an go to D- drive it clunks but not as bad almost like a chug .sry it's so long

My Honda clunks each time I press accelerator pedal after driving around for a while at a stretch. Can you narrow down the list for me based on this piece of information? BTW your quick video seems to be very useful! Great job.
