My ex and I just found out that we're having a daughter in January. At first he didn't want to be involved but now he has stepped up. I'm confused because he said that we can try to work on our relationship a couple of years down the road once we figure out how we do as co-parents. I can understand that and I actually agree with him. However, he's really confusing me. He has straight out said that he misses me and that he still loves me. He's also said that I'm the one he wants and even talked about why he wanted to marry me. He said, see it's because you felt like my best friend. He's also said that he liked that I was ride or die. I'm just confused as to why he's saying all of this when he's talking about waiting a couple of years. I'm not sure I want to wait that long but I also want to respect his wishes. What do you think this means? Why is he saying he wants to wait yet saying all of this stuff? He's also made it clear that any relationships that he's had with other women have been strictly platonic and he's pointed out the reasons why he doesn't think they would work. He said that he tried reaching out on the dating apps again after we split and none of it has worked out. He said that it's mostly because now he's buckling down and getting ready to be a father but he also said that it's because he has not connected with anybody else the way he did with me. He said, I can't connect with anybody else because you're the one I want yet he's saying he wants to wait a couple of years. I don't understand this. It's like he's afraid to come out and say he wants me back and I don't want to bring it up for fear of scaring him off. He's also said that maybe it's our daughter who's giving us a second chance. I'm just really confused by his behavior. Do you think he wants to try again but he's afraid to come out and say it? He also asked me if I love him and if I miss him. I just can't figure him out.

My ex brockup with me fir a stupide reason, then i caught her sleept with other guy, well when i knew that i did a very bad actions.
So she said that it was bcs of me, i made a lot of effort in order to get her back, but recently she said that she loves me too but need space to heal, she play games and the 3 signs are here.
